Anwar Johari Ho

Anwar Johari Ho is a filmmaker from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. He graduated with an MA in Film from the University of Reading, UK, where his master’s thesis short film Forget Me Not (2019) won Best International Short Film and Best Sound Design at Jaffna International Cinema Festival 2019 and Seashorts Film Festival 2019 respectively. It was also screening at Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (2019). His subsequent short film Burung-Burung (2020) garnered him the Jury Prize Award at the Mini Film Festival 2021. In 2021, he directed multiple shorts and web series in the Khmer language in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Eleanor Teh graduated with a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the UK. With a keen interest in filmmaking and utilizing her Finance degree to the fullest, she set out to produce and co-wrote all of Anwar Johari Ho’s films. She made her directorial short film debut with Unforgettable (2019), a spin-off sequel to Forget Me Not (2019).
She is currently working as a freelance producer in Kuala Lumpur.
