Raymond Phathanavirangoon is a Hong Kong-born, Bangkok-based film producer who previously served as co-founder and Executive Director of Southeast Asia Fiction Film Lab (SEAFIC), which helped develop titles such as Oscar Best International Film submissions AJOOMMA (Singapore), AUTOBIOGRAPHY (Indonesia), and PLAN 75 (Japan), among others. He was international programmer for Toronto International Film Festival and Toronto Reel Asian Film Festival as well as Programme Consultant for Hong Kong International Film Festival and Cannes Critics' Week. Prior to that, he was Director of Marketing & Special Projects (Acquisitions) for sales agent Fortissimo Films. He acted as Reading Committee Member for Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF) and was advisory member of Asian Film Awards (AFA). Producing credits include Ron Howard's THIRTEEN LIVES (2022), Pen-ek Ratanaruang's SAMUI SONG (Venice Days 2017) and HEADSHOT (Berlin Panorama 2012), Boo Junfeng's APPRENTICE (Cannes Un Certain Regard 2016), Pang Ho-Cheung's ABERDEEN (2014) and DREAM HOME (2010) and more. He was awarded Asian Film Commission Producer of the Year in 2017 and Future Leaders: Producers, Screen International in 2013.
