Dain Said is an award-winning Malaysian writer, visual artist and filmmaker whose stories explore themes of memory, cultural hybridity and the human condition. His versatile directing career spans features, tv commercials, creative documentaries and video installations that have been produced and screened internationally. His critically acclaimed features include Bunohan (2011), Interchange (2016) and Dukun (2018). His latest feature, the horror Harum Malam (2022), is slated for release later this year.
