Angga Dwimas Sasongko began his career as a film director and produced his first feature film when he was only 19 years old. Angga founded Visinema Pictures in 2008 with the vision of balancing the idealism of filmmaking with the need to ensure commercial profitability. His forward thinking in storytelling and IP development is reflected in his critically acclaimed film, Filosofi Kopi, which based upon a novel, becoming a movie franchise and coffee retail business with an indelible impact on Indonesian coffee culture.

In 12 years under Angga’s visionary leadership, Visinema has grown from a production house to an entertainment and technology company. Today, Visinema has capability in end-to-end supply chain from content creation to distribution platforms. Visinema has received numerous awards and recognitions including winning Best Picture in Festival Film Indonesia and setting the Indonesian Box Office record in 2020 with Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini which sold more than 2.2 million tickets, and further pushing boundaries of storytelling with the action heist film, Mencuri Raden Saleh in 2022 with more than 2.3 million ticket admissions.
